Matchbox Skybusters
Eraser fans everywhere could aim for new heights when Diener released Skybusters in the mid 1970s. They were based on a series of realistic miniatures first introduced in 1973 under the same name by British toy maker Lesney, best known for their popular Matchbox Cars. Each plane in the set is based on a real military or commercial aircraft, with the corresponding plane name molded into the side of the plane. Soft and flexible, these colorful toy planes could easily be given flight in the family home without fear of a catastrophic crash. So put on your aviator goggles, and take to the sky with Skybusters!
