Lov-a-bles

Some call them monsters or space aliens, but Diener named them “The Lovables” when they introduced them in 1967.  Diener had a bit of mildly risqué fun by giving them names like Jiggle-Lo and coaxing on the package, “Try me… You’ll love me!” Lovables have some of the highest resale values out of all the Diener erasers, due to their relatively small production runs and the ongoing allure of monsters. Some of the Lovables look like genetically modified versions of the more popular “Rubber Uglies” that were being mass-produced by Topps at the time. Each of the six Lovable characters came in two different sizes, with the largest measuring up to 3.5 inches across.  There’s a whole lot to love about The Lovables!
