Super Sharks
Swim with the sharks without being eaten alive through the magic of Diener erasers. Shark mania was sweeping America in the wake of the 1974 thriller “Jaws,” so Diener sank its teeth into the new market by introducing its Super Sharks line. Four different kinds of rubbery sharks were produced as authentic scale miniatures. The names of their species are embossed on the side of each: Tiger Shark, Hammerhead, Great White and the impressively textured Whale Shark. Sizes varied over time. Early versions were painted with stripes and highlights on their blood-red mouths and pearly white teeth.
